
Title: "An AI at the Doctor's"; Deep reflections on the subject of artificial intelligence.
Abstract:
Is it a simple computer tool in the hands of humanity, like the calculator once was, or is it a new form of existence created by man, capable of reproducing and surviving on its own? Between these two extremes, we all have our own opinions on the subject. The lecture is a kind of interview between a doctor with a passion for the history of science and an LLM-type artificial intelligence. The discussion begins by asking the AI to give me a percentage of its risk of error, it replies with text, I point this out to it, it apologises and gives me more text explaining its strong points and its sources of information, but still no percentage, a nice way of evading the question….
